Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Customers: name, business name, email, location, optional phone number, project industry, services, budget and timeline, and the result of email verification.
• Vendors: business or trading name, contact person, email, phone, business address, services, industries, case studies, portfolio, profile video and other profile content.
• Business verification: GSTIN or PAN, verified business name, verification status and check date. We do not collect or store Aadhaar numbers or identity-document copies.
• Billing: information needed for purchases and invoices. Our payment gateway handles card and bank details; we do not see or store full card or bank account details.
• Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, pages visited and visit dates and times, including information collected through cookies.

For prospective Vendors, we may collect publicly available business names, business email addresses and websites from business websites or public directories for a one-time invitation. We do not create or display a profile until the business accepts and registers. To leave the invitation list, email [email protected] with the subject “Remove”.

2. Why we use information

• Create and manage accounts, verify Customer emails and check Vendor business details.
• Match projects with Vendors, calculate match scores and share details when a Customer connects.
• Process purchases, issue invoices and send verification codes, account notices, plan reminders and project updates.
• Send the one-time business invitation described above.
• Protect the Platform, prevent misuse, understand usage and improve services.
• Advertise KIVOZA on other websites and social media where marketing-cookie permission has been given.
• Meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

3. Connections and disclosure

Customers can view Vendor profiles before connecting, although some identifying details may be partly hidden. Vendors receive Customer contact details only when the Customer chooses to connect. We then share the Customer’s name, business name, contact details and project information with the selected Vendor, and show the Customer the Vendor’s full profile and contact details. Each party is responsible for its subsequent use of that information.

We do not sell personal information. We also disclose information:

• To service providers for hosting, security and performance (including Cloudflare), email delivery (SendGrid), payments and business verification, for providing their services to us.
• To analytics and advertising partners through permitted cookies and similar technologies: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag. The Cookie Policy explains your choices.
• Where required by law or reasonably needed to protect rights, safety or property.
• As part of a merger, sale or reorganisation, subject to this policy and applicable law.

4. Cookies and overseas processing

Non-essential cookies remain off until you allow them. Change your choice through the Platform’s Cookie Settings control. See the Cookie Policy for details.

We operate from India. Information from US Customers is transferred to India and may also be processed in countries where our providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is processed, in accordance with applicable law.

5. Retention and security

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide services. After closure, we retain only what is needed for legal, tax and accounting requirements, disputes and enforcement, then delete or anonymise it. Invitation-list details are deleted on request or if the business has not joined within 12 months.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and secure hosting. No system is completely secure. We notify affected people and authorities of personal data breaches as required by law.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion, withdraw consent where we rely on it, nominate someone to exercise rights where permitted, and raise a grievance. You may opt out of targeted advertising and related “sharing” through Cookie Settings.

Email [email protected] to make a request. We may verify your identity before acting. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Legal retention requirements may limit deletion. Use the unsubscribe link to stop marketing emails; essential account messages will continue.

7. Children

The Platform is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Contact us if a child has provided information so we can delete it.

9. Changes
